Welcome

My name is Sharissa Kempen and i graduated in 2010 at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (Holland). While I was studying I got my inspiration from an American soap opera which is called As the World Turns.

I’m making books with images and sometimes some text included. The images are etchings printed on paper, an old-fashioned graphic technique.

In these books I’m trying to combine the story line from the soap opera together with my own experiences in life and that way I make my own story.
